1. Guidelines for the participants

Here below, the suggested guideline for final paper to be presented at the workshop. However, feel free to use your own format.

  • Problem statement
  • Research question(s)
  • Work plan
  • Expected results

The maximum length of your final working paper must be between 6 and 8 pages. All the paper should be prepared using the template IFIP (download "template_ifip").  The PhD student must be the single author of the final paper. However, other associated persons may be included in the acknowledgements. 

2. Presentation program

The sessions of the workshop will consist of presentations and discussions of the selected research topics.

For each presentation:

  • 15 minutes: participant presentation
  • 5 minutes: discussant review (by the assigned discussant)
  • 5 minutes for general discussion

3. Registration information

Registration fees

 Registration is required for all congress participants. Early bird registration fees are offered at a discounted rate.

Registration Fees include:

  • Access to all workshop sessions

  • All congress materials and a name badge

  • 3 nights’ accommodation and meals

  • All refreshment breaks during the congress

  • Entrance to the Welcome Reception and the social program

     

Registration payment

Upon the reception of the pre-registration form the information related to the payment process will be sent. Our system supports the following payment methods:

  • Online: Secure credit card transactions (CB, Visa, Mastercard)

    • A link will be provided to proceed to the payment of the registration fees through credit card

Letter of Invitation

Participants requiring an official Letter of Invitation from the conference organizers can request one during the Registration. This letter may be required by the French authorities to issue a visa. To receive a Letter of Invitation, participants must first register to the conference and submit payment in full. Please make sure that you hold all the travel documents and passport required by the french authorities to enter the country.

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation must be notified to palm2016@sciencesconf.org or fperes@enit.fr. All refunds will be made after the conference. Refunds will be made to the same bank account or credit card as the original payment. Please refer to the following dates for cancellation:

  • Cancellation by September 30th : Full refund less bank or credit card expenses and a 75€ processing fee

  • Cancellation after September 30th : No refund

Cancellation means that the final paper could be withdrawn from PALM’16 Proceedings if no author has finally registered to the Main Conference.

Please remember that cancelling your registration does not automatically cancel your hotel and travel arrangements. Each participant is responsible for cancelling their own hotel and travel reservations.
